Program Open: Food Producer Wage Subsidy

The Food Producer Wage Subsidy and Training Support program provides support to primary food producers in the Basin. The program will provide flexibility for eligible producers to hire and/or train employees as needed throughout the 2026 growing and harvesting season. This program helps increase Basin residents’ access to locally grown, healthy food.

The program opens January 14, 2026. You can prepare and review the program guide and application worksheet in advance.
