Community Liaisons
Community Liaisons at the Trust are dedicated to engaging with residents and communities throughout the Columbia Basin region. They work to build and deepen relationships, understand unique challenges, and uncover opportunities that help communities thrive. Aligned with the new Columbia Basin Management Plan, the Trust’s focus is on fostering healthy, resilient relationships and vibrant communities.
Community Liaisons play a pivotal role in fostering connections and facilitating positive change within Basin communities. Through regular conversations, they provide valuable guidance and support, and help groups and organizations navigate the Trust’s programs and funding opportunities.
Acting as a vital link between residents, organizations, and the Trust, Community Liaisons directly support communities that may lack resources such as staff, volunteers, or expertise to plan and develop projects. Their commitment ensures that every community can achieve its aspirations and continue to be an incredible place to live.
