Message of Support from the CEO:
As the impacts of COVID-19 continue to unfold, we want to take this opportunity to share our commitment to provide support during this uncertain time. We recognize that many recipients and partners will experience challenges and may require additional support from the Trust. We welcome and encourage you to reach out to your staff contact if this is true for you.
As we work though the coming weeks and months together, I want to highlight the Trust’s commitments to:
- Continue providing financial support for community projects and initiatives.
- Making payments to recipients in accordance with existing agreements.
- Providing support to the business community by way of commercial loans, investments, and related services.
- Communicating often and clearly to ensure residents are apprised of program launches and key timelines.
Like so many of you, our highest priority is public health and this will be reflected in our organizational decisions, including how we engage with residents, communities, and partners in the Columbia Basin.
The Trust will do everything we can to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and will follow the recommended best practices of Government and the Province Health Officer. We are limiting our travel and connecting virtually or by phone whenever possible.
If you have any concerns with how your work with the Trust may be affected during this time, please reach out to your staff contact, or connect with us at info@ourtrust.org.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and resilience during this challenging time.
