November 1 – Day of the Dead: A Cross-Cultural Celebration, Nelson

Tapatia Collective will host Day of the Dead, a free, family-friendly multicultural event inspired by the Mexican Día de Muertos with a community discussion on grief, loss and healing, as well as music, art and dance.

November 2 – Remember the Dead, Nelson

Polka Dot Dragon Arts Society will host “Remember the Dead” on November 2, 2025, at Nelson’s Memorial Park to remember loved ones while following a path with interactive installations, luminaria, and live music.

November 5 – Financial Management for Non-Profits- workshop

This workshop, instructed by Fletcher FitzGibbon, CPA, will cover core financial management concepts that are critical to successfully running a non-profit organization. Topics include budgeting, how to read and understand various financial reports, and financial goal setting.

The Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its 32nd Business Excellence Awards on November 8, 2025, recognizing local businesses and non-profits for their exceptional contributions.

November 15 – Kootenay Family Place Fundraising Gala & Silent Auction, Castlegar

The Kootenay Family Place will host their Fundraising Gala and Silent Auction for their Neighbourhood House.

November 15 – 12th Annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival, Invermere.

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is Wildsight Invermere’s annual, awesome fundraiser. It’s one BIG night of films, story telling, shared food and drink, and friends.  With ten short documentary films to fill the evening, you’ll laugh, sigh, be inspired, provoked and entertained by a cast of characters – human and otherwise! – from all over the world.  Event Information.

November 15 – Friends of the Invermere Public Library Christmas Auction, Invermere

The Friends of the Invermere Public Library will raise funds for the local library through their annual Christmas auction.

November 16 -18 – 7th Sliding Festival of Film, Creston

The Kootenay Film Society will host their annual 7th Siding Festival of Film from November 16-18, 2025, showing short and feature-length films that promote a rural theme. Event Information.

November 17 – Community Connect Day, Castlegar

The Castlegar & District Community Services Society is hosting an event to connect vulnerable populations to support services in the community. A hot lunch, live music, an art activity, a kids zone and donated quality winter wear will be available.

November 21 – Perspectives Film Tour, Nelson

Open Mountains Project Society will tour the Kootenays with four films that delve into queer, trans, female and Indigenous perspectives on mountain culture. The tour will begin in Revelstoke on November 12th, 2025, and will be followed by a film panel moderated by social scientist and guide Rachel Reimer, PhD.

November 23 – Slocan Park Hall Christmas Craft Fair, Slocan Park

The Slocan Park Community Hall Society will host its 3rd Annual Christmas Craft Fair at Slocan Park Hall on November 23rd, 2025. Vendors will have many locally made gifts and there will be goodies for kids and an assortment of door prizes at this festive, community loved event.

November 29 – New Denver Christmas Market, New Denver

The Slocan Community Health Care Auxiliary will host a Christmas Market at the Bosun Hall in New Denver on November 29th, 2025.

November 29 – Invermere Light Up and Santa Clause Parade
