March 1 – The North Valley Mountain Film Festival

The North Valley Mountain Film Festival (NVMFF) is an annual one day event bringing together residents of mountain communities and showcasing locally produced films and slideshows in Silverton on March 1, 2025.

March 2 – Griz Days

Fernie’s annual Griz Days winter celebration will occur from February 28th to March 2nd, 2025.

March 6-8 – Lilith 2025 – Kimberley

The Lady’s Leg Dancers will host Lilith 2025 on March 6-8, 2025 celebrating local women in performing arts.

March 8 – Soup for the Cultured Soul 2025

The Kootenay Gallery will host Soup for the Cultured Soul, a gala event for fundraising that will also increase the community’s awareness of the Arts on March 8, 2025, in Castlegar.

March 8 – Cabin Fever Daze

The 2025 Annual Cabin Fever Daze will be held in Wardner. The event will include a pancake breakfast along with games, a multi-team snow baseball tournament at Wardner Park, followed by a chili and bun to end the event back at the hall.

March 14 – West Creston History Night

The West Creston Community Hall Society will celebrate the history of West Creston by hosting a Community History Night at the Hall on March 14, 2025. The Creston Museum will deliver a presentation on the early dyking in the area, and long-time and past residents will be sharing photos and memories.

March 15 – Big Game Awards Banquet

The West Kootenay Big Game Association’s Awards Banquet helps the association increase membership and raise funds for wildlife conservation projects. The 68th annual event will be held in Trail on March 15,
2025.

March 30 – Annual Community Bean Dinner

Procter-Harrop Seniors’ Association will host their Annual Bean Dinner to help foster friendships by inviting Harrop, Procter and neighbouring communities to a community feast on March 30, 2025.
