Accessible Recreation Grants
Accessible Recreation Grants support projects that improve access to indoor physical activity and recreation for people with diverse abilities throughout the Basin. Funding is available to local governments, First Nations and non-profit organizations for accessibility improvements to existing indoor recreation facilities and purchasing adaptive equipment and training. These investments help reduce barriers and create more opportunities for people of all abilities to participate in physical activity and recreation.
Who can Apply
Eligible applicants include local governments, First Nations communities and non-profit organizations in the Basin’s region that own or operate public recreation facilities and are committed to providing inclusive, low-barrier access to indoor recreation.
