July 1 – Village of Salmo Canada Day Celebrations

The Village of Salmo will host their annual Salmo Days and Canada Day celebrations with a variety of community events, including a parade, slo-pitch tournament, food vendors, farmers market and children’s events from June 27 to July 1, 2025.

The Kootenay Lake Lions Club will host Canada Day with family fun, children’s races and games, and great food at old fashioned prices July 1, 2025, in Crawford Bay.

The City of Kimberley is hosting Canada Day celebrations on July 1st, 2025. The event will include live music, food vendors, children’s activities, and a cultural showcase.

The Silverton Community Club will host its annual July 1st, 2025 celebration with a weekend of activities for the entire family to enjoy in Silverton park.

The Rossland Historical Museum & Archives Association, in partnership with the City of Rossland and many local community groups, is hosting a Canada Day celebration on July 1, 2025, featuring food, activities, crafts, live performances, games and free admission to the Museum.

Canada Day celebrations in Fauquier are open to all and include games, face painting, bicycle decorating, a parade, prizes and a community brunch, all taking place July 1, 2025.

The free Mountain Mosaic Festival of the Arts in Invermere returns July 1, 2025 and will be presented once again by the Columbia Valley Arts Council.

The Steamboat Mountain Music Society will host their fourteenth annual music festival from July 4-6, 2025 in Edgewater.

The Anything Goes Event Series will host the Fernie Gravel Grind from July 4-6, 2025.

The Balfour Recreation Commission will host Balfour Daze, a family-oriented community celebration featuring local musicians, artists, crafters, food vendors and local non-profits on July 5, 2025.

July 7 – Beaverhead Sundance

The annual Beaverhead Sundance ceremony will take place June 27-July 7, 2025, in the Columbia Valley.

July 18 – KBRH Health Foundation 2025 Golf Classic

The KBRH Health Foundation will host their annual Golf Classic on July 18, 2025, to raise funds for critical upgrades to mental health care facilities at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.

July 19 – 53rd Julyfest Parade

Myrtle Mountain Events is hosting the 53rd Julyfest parade on July 19, 2025. The parade provides community fun, excitement, unity and a positive, fun filled day in Kimberley. The benefits are for all tourist, locals, children, families, and participants who ride on the floats.

July 24 – Valemount Community BBQ

Tourism Valemount, Valemount Community Forest and the Trust will host a community BBQ as part of our 30th Anniversary celebration in Valemount on July 24, 2025.

July 26 – Valemount Community BBQ

A fee will be presented to the Valemount Legion – Branch 266 in recognition of their time and efforts during the Trust’s 30th Anniversary BBQ event.

July 26 – 32nd Annual Glade Fishing Derby

The Glade Recreation Commission is hosting their 32nd Annual Glade Fishing Derby, a family fun community gathering with prizes, food & beverage, and live music on July 25 & 26, 2025.

July 26 – Ragnarock Music Festival

The Ymir Community Association is hosting the annual Ragnarock Music Festival, a free family festival including a parade, crafts, games, food vendors and live entertainment, on July 26, 2025 in Ymir.

July 31 – Woodcarver Park Fundraiser

In support of a fundraising initiative for the construction Woodcarver park in Radium.
