10 Days of #BuyBasin Giveaways

10 Days of #BuyBasin Giveaways is a social media contest that celebrates and encourages residents living in the Columbia Basin to buy, stay and play local.

Monday to Friday for two weeks from November 24 to December 5, 2025 Columbia Basin Trust will be giving various prizes in the form of gift cards, that help support and celebrate Basin businesses. All giveaways take place and can be entered on our Facebook and Instagram page:

Rules and Regulations

1. The daily contest is open to people who live in the Columbia Basin region. Proof of address may be required.
2. The daily contest is open only to people 18 years or older at the time of entry. Columbia Basin Trust staff and Board members and their immediate family (spouses and children) are not eligible to win prizes from the 10 Days of #BuyBasin Giveaways contest.
3. The daily contest prize will be mailed out to the daily contest winner(s) within 30 days after the winner(s) have provided a valid mailing address, email address and phone number or be ready for pick up at the business of their choice.
4. Winners have up until January 16, 2026 to claim their prize. If the prize is not claimed by this date the prize will be revoked.
5. The daily contests range in value from $100 to $500. These prizes are awarded in the form of gift cards to Basin businesses and will be mailed to the daily contest winner(s). NOTE: Some businesses may allow the pickup of the gift card from their direct location.
6. The daily contest post will indicate the number of prizes available for each day per platform.
7. Winners will be picked using a random online generator.
8. Instructions to enter the contest will be posted to Instagram and Facebook daily at 9 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. MT. Entries for daily contests will be accepted for 28 hours following the contest post, until 1 p.m. PT / 2 p.m. MT. Winners will be announced no later than 3 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. MT the following day. 
9. Instagram winners will be notified via a reply to the winners comment, and via a direct message on the account they used to enter the contest. In addition, the winners will also be announced through the Trust’s Instagram story and on the post, following the contest closure.
10. Facebook winners will receive a response via their comment and will be contacted via direct message on the account they used to enter the contest. The winners will also be announced through the Trust’s Facebook story and on the post, following the contest closure. The Trust will never ask you for a credit card or to click a link to enter your information. Be diligent about possible accounts posing as Columbia Basin Trust.
11. All winners need to contact communications@ourtrust.org to claim their prize.
12. Winners will be asked for their top three preferred Basin businesses. Selection will depend on the ability to purchase a gift card online or by phone, and we reserve the right to choose from any of the options provided, based on feasibility in purchasing the gift card.
13. Prizes are not transferable, nor can they be exchanged for cash or equivalent value.
14. The Trust is responsible for shipping costs for all prizes. The Trust is not responsible for lost or stolen packages or for instances where gift cards or certificates are no longer accepted by the issuer.
15. This 10 Days of #BuyBasin Giveaways contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta (Facebook, or Instagram).
16. Gift cards or certificates purchased by the Trust may not be used for purchase of alcohol, tobacco or cannabis.
17. Prizes are not guaranteed to be delivered by December 25, 2025.
18. All entries, including any copyright they may contain, are the property of the Trust and may be published at the Trust’s discretion.
19. By entering the contest you are indicating you have read the Trust’s Privacy Policy and are accepting the practices described in the privacy policy.
20. By submitting a comment for the 2025 #BuyBasin Giveaways contest, you acknowledge that the personal information requested is collected under the authority of section 26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA). Columbia Basin Trust will use this information for the purpose of sending you a gift card.
