Together we are making a difference in…
Wildfire Preparedness
Together we’re building wildfire resilience in the Basin to keep communities safe and forests thriving.
Here’s a glimpse of the positive impact we’re making together:
- Building community resilience by supporting communities to develop emergency plans and promote FireSmart principles and training.
- Strengthening communities in the Basin so they can plan and prepare for wildfires through wildfire prevention and protection equipment and training.
We’re paving the way towards a safer, more sustainable future. Together we are making a difference.
Reducing Food Waste
Together we’re working to lower greenhouse gas emissions for a greener future.
Curious about the impact we’re making together? Check it out!
We are keeping food from the landfill by supporting organizations and communities to use food in creative ways to reduce waste by juicing, drying pulp and making animal feed.
Making composting easier for people living in the Basin through organic waste diversion and curbside compost pick up.
This is just the start of what’s possible when we come together with a shared vision of sustainability. Together we are making a difference.
Energy Efficiency
Together we’re moving towards a more energy-efficient future in the Basin. Here’s a look at some of the ways we’re making positive changes together:
- Energizing non-profits with upgrades like insulation, LED lighting and energy-efficient heat pumps. These upgrades are not just saving energy but saving money too.
- Enriching communities by creating greener spaces for everyone to enjoy. From community halls to local parks, these energy-efficient upgrades not only reduce the environmental footprint but also enhance the quality of life for all Basin residents.
