This program helps local food producers test and transition to crop varieties that are more resilient to a changing climate and not yet widely grown in their area. These trials may also help producers determine whether new crops could be scaled up in the future.
The program supports the Trust’s goal of strengthening regional resilience by helping producers adapt to changing conditions. By supporting innovation and diversification in local production, it contributes to a more reliable supply of locally grown food across the Basin.
