The first Saddle Mountain Day will be held September 1, 2025, at various outdoor locations in Nakusp and area. Events will include the Saddle Mountain Paddle Skedaddle, Saddle Mountain themed art walk,

September 5-6 – Creston Valley Fall Fair 2025, Creston
The Creston Valley Fall Fair Association will host the 107th annual Creston Valley Fall Fair a family fun event that highlights the importance of community, agriculture, and art on September 5 and 6, 2025. Event Information.
September 5-6 – Queen City Cruise, Nelson
The Nelson Road Kings will host the Queen City Cruise by bringing in over 500 classic cars, truck and motorcycles and attracting thousands of spectators to Nelson on September 5 and 6, 2025. Event Information.
September 5-7 – Golden City Days, Rossland
The annual Rossland Golden City Days, celebrating local pioneer history and mountain culture, will be held September 5-7, 2025. The free, multi-day event includes children’s games, family friendly activities, local artists, musicians, a family dance party, and a parade.
September 6 – First Fridays, Invermere
First Fridays is a free local arts & culture crawl in Invermere from 5-8 pm on four dates throughout the summer, June to September. It includes over 40 downtown area businesses, live street performances, local music, independent film screenings, live arts events and the Art Walk. Event Information.
September 6 – Outdoor Movie at Mazzocchi, Fruitvale
Beaver Valley Recreation is hosting a free, all-ages outdoor movie at Mazzocchi Park in Fruitvale on September 6, 2025, to bring the community together and celebrate the end of summer.
September 6 – New Denver Cemetery Tour, New Denver
This free public event, held by the Silvery Slocan Historical Society on September 6, 2025, will give people the opportunity to learn about the history of the area through an engaging cemetery tour.
September 7 – Krestova Slow Food Cycle, Castlegar
The Krestova Slow Food Cycle is a free self guided tour on September 9th, 2025, for all community members to visit participating locations by bike, foot or vehicle to sample baked goods, farm stands, a free BBQ lunch and a bike repair station. Event Information.

The West Creston Community Hall Society will host their annual Corn Cricker’s Picnic featuring corn husking, rolling pin toss, horseshoes, children races, and more. Event Information.

New Denver Hospice Society will hold a “Last Cafe” for all community members at the Silverton Memorial Hall. They will host information booths from several societies, businesses and organizations that provide services for end of life planning.
September 20 – Fall Harvest Feast, Fernie
Wildsight Elk Valley will host a Fall Harvest Feast on September 20, 2025, at the Eco Garden in Fernie. The event will focus on community engagement, celebrate local food, nutrition and sovereignty.
September 20 – Anything for Alzheimer’s Walk, Castlegar
The Castle Wood Village will host a fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Society of B.C. with a pledged walk, a BBQ by donation, craft & bake sale, silent auction and live music.
September 23 – Ten Steps to Successful Strategic Planning workshop, Creston
This session will cover tips for preparing to plan, setting achievable goals, and involving the right people in the planning process. Examples and planning tools will be included. Participants are encouraged to bring their organization’s plan to the session for feedback. More Information.
