October 1 – Amazing & Aging: Seniors Health, Trail

Join the City of Trail on October 1 from 10 AM – 2 PM at the Trail & District Public Library for the Amazing & Aging Seniors Fair. The event is an opportunity for seniors of all ages and abilities to socialize, engage, and learn about senior specific health & wellness services in our region. Event Information.

October 2-3 – KORE Summit, Kimberley

The KORE Outdoors Summit is Canada’s only conference dedicated to outdoor gear and the rec-tech manufacturing and product design sector that creates it.  Event Information.

October 4 – Salmo Valley Fall Festival, Salmo

The Salmo Valley Fall Festival will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Salmo Valley Youth & Community Centre with live music, youth activities, workshops, an artisan fair, and a showcase of local nonprofits. Event Information.

October 5 – The Art Stations 35th Anniversary, Fernie

The Fernie Arts Station is celebrating it’s 35th Anniversary on October 5th, 2025, with a day of connection and creativity. An open house will include free all-ages art activities, information about current programs, live music and food. October 9 – The Cure for Drowning, Golden

Golden Pride Society will bring award wining queer author Loghan Paylor to the Golden Okanagan Regional Library branch on October 9, 2025.

October 19 – Community Expo and Volunteer Fair, Edgewood

The Edgewood Legion will host a Volunteer Job Fair for Edgewood and the surrounding community to highlight opportunities to connect with local societies on October 19th, 2025.

October 21 – Non-profit Networking Bootcamp, Revelstoke

Community Futures Development Corporation of Revelstoke will host a free networking and learning event on October 21st, 2025, for local non-profits to support their understanding of core skills, accessing resources and increasing connections throughout the sector. Event Information.

October 24 – Business Excellence Awards, Cranbrook

The Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual Business Excellence Awards on October 24, 2025. The Awards celebrate local businesses and organizations. Event Information.

October 25-26 – Kootenay Lake Summit, Harrop

The Friends of Kootenay Lake Stewardship Society will host the 10th annual Kootenay Lake Summit
2025 to inspire and educate with expert talks, an interactive wetlands walk, and a community celebration with food and music at the Harrop Hall from October 25-26, 2025.

October 31 – Halloween Dance and Fireworks, Edgewood

The Inonoaklin Recreation Commission will host a Halloween Dance followed by fireworks for the community.
