The cities of Trail and Rossland are teaming up to host the BC Winter Games from February 25-March 1, 2026.

March 6 – Spring Tea Party
The Nakusp & District Museum will host a community Spring Tea Party on March 6th, 2026.

March 6 – 7 – Jimmy Hong Memorial Funspiel, Cranbrook

The Cranbrook Curling Club is hosting a curling Funspiel on March 6 and 7, 2026, a two-day family friendly event that along with competitive curling will have free games, entertainment and a community dance.

March 6 – 8 Griz Days, Fernie

An annual celebration in Fernie, BC that honours the community’s connection to the legendary Griz, the mythical creature said to bring snow and winter fun to the region. Event Information.

March 7 – 2026 North Valley Mountain Film Festival, North Slocan

This festival is inspired by what drew, and keeps, many of us here – the lake, mountains, wilderness, adventure, and simple healthy living. Showcasing a mix of professional and home-grown productions to bring awe, laughter, intrigue, and discussion to the community. Also featuring shows from local to regional, and sometimes from a little farther afield. Event Information

March 7 – Lilith, Kimberley

The Lady’s Leg Dancers will host Lilith 2026 on March 5-7, 2026, celebrating local women
in performing arts.

March 14 – Perfectly Paired, Rossland

The Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital and Health Foundation Society will host its Perfectly Paired Chef’s Collaboration Dinner, along with live musical entertainment in Rossland.

March 31 – Winter Wonder to Spring Fling, Procter

The Procter Community Society will host Winter Wonder to Spring Fling 2025-26, a
series of events to fend off the winter blues by bringing the community together with laughter and fun, such as Christmas community dinner, a talent show, Solstice Bonfire, Bingo, and more.
