Are you wondering how to assess your soil and improve your fertility or water management? Join Jeff Nimmo from the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food and hosts at the Upper Ranch for a hands-on in-the-field experience on September 23.
The field day will support producers to:
– Discuss soil properties relevant for irrigation and weathering drought
– Know where, how, and when to do soil sampling for fertility
– Identify soil indicators that provide information about soil health
– Do it yourself in-field soil assessments
