Columbia Basin Trust is expanding our Power Operations team as we bring the operations and maintenance of our Arrow Lakes, Brilliant Expansion and Waneta Expansion hydropower facilities in-house.
We have completed the first phase of hiring, establishing key leadership and planning roles. Recruitment will continue in future phases, creating a rare opportunity to join the Trust during this significant period of growth.

- Senior Reliability Engineer – Electrical
This role supports the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of the Trust’s hydropower assets.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Castlegar.
Salary is $121,000 – $142,200.

This position is responsible for providing leadership, coordination and technical expertise in occupational health and safety across the Trust’s hydropower assets.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Castlegar.
Salary is $98,100 – $115,300.

This role provides administrative and logistical support for the Operations & Maintenance group with the Trust’s Power Operations team.
