Home Energy Efficiency Workshops
Twenty-five free Home Energy Efficiency Workshops will be delivered in communities throughout the Columbia Basin between September 8 and October 22. The workshops provide practical, hands-on advice to help homeowners make their homes more comfortable, energy efficient and affordable to operate.
Participants will learn about simple, low-cost DIY improvements and everyday habits that can have an immediate impact on home comfort and energy use. The workshops will also provide information about rebates and resources available for larger home retrofit projects.
Each session includes live demonstrations, practical take-home resources and expert guidance to help homeowners identify where energy is commonly lost and what they can do to improve their home’s energy performance
Participants will learn:
- Where energy is commonly lost in the home.
- Simple behaviour changes that can improve comfort and reduce energy use.
- Low-cost DIY improvements that are easy to implement.
- Practical tips for making noticeable improvements quickly.
- How to access rebates and additional resources for larger retrofit projects.
The workshops are delivered by the Community Energy Association on behalf of Columbia Basin Trust.
Advance registration is recommended, as space may be limited.
