$1 million available in first intake of three-year program
The first intake of Columbia Basin Trust’s new Child Care Capital Grants is now open. The capital grants will support improvements to existing child care facilities and construction of new child care spaces in the Basin.
Last month, the Trust announced its new $3.6-million Child Care Support Program, and the capital grants are the first component of the program. This will be the first of three intakes, with $1 million available annually. The grants will fund projects including the purchase of child care equipment, upgrades and renovations of existing licensed child care facilities and construction of new licensed child care spaces.
