Basin markets and market-goers to benefit from new online tool.
If you’re planning a culinary adventure through our area, this new tool will guide you to all the locally grown treasures. The BC Association of Farmers’ Markets (BCAFM) is bringing the province-wide BC Farmers’ Market Trail initiative to the Columbia Basin and Kootenay Rockies with a dedicated website. Site visitors can find information about all 23 markets in the region, which produce is in season, and rich photography to inspire their travels.
The launch is supported by Destination BC, Kootenay Rockies Tourism, and the Trust. Read more about how we’re supporting local food and agriculture here.
