Brandon Haney joined the Trust in 2020 as part of the transition of the Power Operations team from Columbia Power Corporation, where he joined in 2014 as an Asset Reliability Manager. Earlier in his career, he worked for BC Hydro in design, resource management, and operations and maintenance. He has been a Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC since 2009.

Brandon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Electrical Power Engineering and an MBA from UBC Sauder. His expertise is in renewable energy asset management, and his passion lies in expanding renewable energy generation, with hydro serving as the foundation alongside wind, solar and other renewable energy sources.
