Johnny Strilaeff joined the Trust in 2005 after working in the financial services sector. Born and raised in the Basin region, he became Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer in 2012 and was appointed President and CEO in 2016. In 2017, he also assumed CEO responsibilities for Columbia Power Corporation and continues to have oversight responsibilities for power project-related business.

Johnny attended Selkirk College before earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Calgary. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.

Johnny and his wife, Tracy, live in Castlegar.
