This project provides engineering support to assist communities in achieving water conservation targets associated with their participation in the Columbia Basin Water Smart Initiative.

The purpose of this project is to coordinate the Columbia Basin Water Smart Initiative which supports Basin communities to conserve water.

This contract will support the overall coordination of Columbia Basin Water Smart Initiative (Water Smart) communications outreach resident engagement and the Water Smart Ambassador Program.

As part of the Columbia Basin Water Smart Initiative a consultant will assist communities to interpret water meter data in support of achieving their water conservation targets.

This project will supports eight non-profit watershed groups across the Basin to collect water quality data during 2015 following federal data collection protocols. This is the eighth year of the project.
