This project will support the Nakusp Medieval Society to bring Nakusp Medieval Days to the community July 23-24 2016.

The Nakusp Centennial Golf Club will host a 50th Anniversary open house on July 17 2016.

The Nakusp Celebration of Light is an annual community event to celebrate the holiday season. Activities for all ages including a performance by fire dancers are enjoyed by area residents.

The Nakusp and District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Canada Day festivities at the community park and downtown Nakusp on July 1 2016. This family event is a benefit to the entire community and its summer visitors.

The Village of Nakusp will replace the arena roof at the Nakusp Sports Complex which serves as the primary recreation facility and large event space for Nakusp and surrounding communities in the Arrow Lakes and Slocan valleys.

Opportunities for the regeneration of Nakusp's and Invermere's downtowns will be explored through Main Street BOOST - a program of the National Trust for Canada.

This project will provide land base stabilization for Nakusp and Area Community Forest (NACFOR) and will complete an analysis of NACFOR's existing land base.

This project supports the construction of two accessible trails in the Nakusp Community Forest operating area north of Nakusp.

A Street Food Fair will take place in Nakusp October 15 2016 and will highlight the wild mushrooms that are common to the area.
