The Endowment Support for Community Foundations program encourages the development of registered community foundations like the Community Fund of North Kootenay Lake Society (CFNKLS) in the Basin by allowing foundations to receive $25 000 per year in matching funds for two years from CBT and the Vancouver Foundation. The Community Fund of North Kootenay Lake Society is a Partnering Community with the Osprey Community Foundation.
