Youth Community Service Awards

Youth Community Service Awards are designed to reward and encourage the volunteerism of Columbia Basin students. These awards are not based on academic achievement but rather volunteer community service activity. Community service refers to a significant contribution of volunteer time, energy and/or talent that fosters community well-being. The Youth Community Service Award supports 1-3 students per Basin Public Secondary School with $2,000.

These awards are funded by the Trust and delivered in partnership with Public Secondary Schools in the Basin. Funding decisions are made by delivery partners.

These awards are open to all graduating students in the community, not just those attending the Public Secondary School. Applicants in the community may contact their nearest Public Secondary School to apply. Find details specific to each Public Secondary Schools in the list below.
