The Youth Impact Network is part of the Trust’s larger Basin Youth Network, pictured above at last year’s Youth Summit.
The Trust is granting $55,000 per year for three years to the Cranbrook Youth Impact Network.
Youth in Cranbrook will see an increase in support and engagement, including more local activities and support for youth workers.
The Youth Impact Network is administered and partially funded by the Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club, which has been running programs for children and youth for the past 47 years.
The network in Cranbrook is part of the Trust’s larger Basin Youth Network, which helps communities offer more youth programming and supports collaboration among members of the network.
“It’s great to be part of this larger community of organizations that are supporting youth throughout our region. The ability to share ideas and strategies is invaluable,” said Lynette Wray, Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club Executive Director.
