Join BC Non-Profit Housing Association, Co-op Housing Federation of BC and Aboriginal Housing Management Association for three days of learning, networking and sharing of exciting ideas. The education sessions, keynotes and guest speakers, networking events and tradeshow at this year’s conference are designed not only to bolster the delegates’ individual professional development but also to empower and uplift the affordable housing sector as a whole. Columbia Basin Trust is offering to help 20 Basin-based non-profit housing societies to attend the event by providing up to $1,000 per society to offset expenses.
The cost to attend the conference is below. Note that this sponsorship only covers full conference attendance.

To be eligible to receive the Trust funds, you must represent a registered non-profit society focused on affordable housing, based in the Columbia Basin Trust region, and should:
- not have created a new housing project in the last three years and are currently not operating more than 30 units; or
- be considering an affordable housing project for the first time.
Selected participants will be required to submit an expense form with accompanying documentation after the conference to be reimbursed up to a maximum of $1,000 for the following eligible expenses:
- Conference registration fees;
- Airfare and luggage fees (receipt and boarding pass required);
- Car rental, taxi or public transit; and
- Mileage (reimbursed at $0.55 per kilometer).
