If you have an idea that will help protect and enhance fish, wildlife and habitats in and around Koocanusa Reservoir and its tributaries, this program could help support it. The program is delivered by the Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program.
This program is now accepting grant applications for the coming year.
Who Can Apply
Stewardship groups, First Nations, consultants, agencies or individuals are invited to apply for a grant to help conserve and enhance fish and wildlife. In the East Kootenay, through a partnership with the Trust, the Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program has funds available to deliver projects under the Upper Kootenay Ecosystem Enhancement Plan.
How to Apply
This is year five of a five-year partnership. If you have project ideas for work beginning after April 2018, apply by 5 p.m. PT/6 p.m. MT on October 27, 2017.
