Child Care Support Advisor
As part of the Child Care Support Program, Columbia Basin Trust has partnered with Kootenay Kids Society to provide advisory services to registered child care providers in the Basin. These advisory services will support, enhance and increase quality licensed child care spaces.
Using the network of Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) programs in the Basin, Kootenay Kids Society will work directly with interested child care managers and providers, offering a range of services including:
- Supporting awareness of grant funding opportunities
- Assisting with grant application processes through training and individualized support
- Identifying and supporting solutions to common business and operational challenges
- Providing capital project guidance and support to individuals and organizations who wish to create new licensed child care services or enhance existing services.
