Kootenay families to benefit from new child care spaces
More parents in the Kootenays will be able to return to work, go back to school or pursue other opportunities as the Province and the Trust invest in new, licensed child care spaces, about 50 of which are expected to open in the fall. The Province is supporting three projects to create 125 new licensed child care spaces in Trail, Fernie and Elkford. The Trust is a partner on projects in Trail and Elkford.
More Child Care Spaces, Plus Many More Upgrades
Families in the Columbia Basin will soon have more child care options, and children will have better and safer places where they can play, build new skills, grow their imaginations and run about as they develop their bodies and minds.
