#basinlife Photo Contest

The beauty of the Basin is endless and we want to see it through your eyes. Whether that means your experience at a community event, a local historical site, your weekend adventure or the beautiful scenery that surrounds us.

Share your photos with us throughout the month of August for your chance to win $500 towards new camera equipment and to be featured in our 2023 desktop calendar. Winner will be chosen through four rounds of voting starting on September 1, 2022.

  1. Entries will only be accepted on Instagram and through the online photo submission form on our website.
  2. Winner will be chosen through four rounds of voting from September 1 – 8.
  3. Votes will be collected through Instagram Stories and through our website. Photos with the most votes between Instagram and online voting will move onto the next round.
  4. Winner to be announced on September 9, 2022, through the Trust’s Instagram story, and will be contacted via direct message or email.
  5. Contest is open to people 18 years or older at the time of entry, whose primary residence is in the Columbia Basin region. Proof of age and address may be required.
  6. This contest is not sponsored by or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
  7. Only one winner will be chosen between website submissions and Instagram.
  8. Winner will receive up to $500 towards new camera equipment and $100 for their photo to be included in the Trust’s 2023 desktop calendar. Proof of purchase and cost may be required.
