If you need short-term training to increase your chances of getting a job, this program could help you pay for it.
This program provides up to $800 to go toward tuition for a short-term course that will help you secure immediate employment. The money is paid directly to the educational/training institution.
Who Can Apply
You may apply if you are a Basin resident who is unemployed or underemployed. Contact your local employment service centre for further details and eligibility criteria.
You may keep applying until you have used up the full $800 limit. After you’ve used $800, you must wait five years to reapply.

The program accepts applications year-round. To apply, you must speak to your local employment service centre.
